Hostage Training
I spent last week in Plainview for TDCJ's yearly hostage negotiation training. I complain about going every year, but once it gets started I am always glad that I get to do what I do. The reality is that I work in a dangerous environment, and bad things can happen. We had an outstanding group this year and I hope that we never have to use the skills that we train for; but in a crisis I would want these people helping me out.
