  • My Assignment

As I said earlier last Saturday was a busy day.  I met with my friends that morning to do family pictures, then we had a wedding that afternoon, with what I think was the best dress of the year, so far.  Then engagement pictures downtown and at the carnival with Joy and Trey.  I love the ferris wheel collage DeEdra did of Lindsay and Matthew.  So while we were watching Trey and Joy ride the ferris wheel, I was taking picture after picture, trying to blur the image (without using photoshop)  finally DeEdra say's, "take pictures of Joy and Trey"    Sometimes you just want to play...  So here is the image and I think it looks pretty darn cool.  See Joy and Trey at www.xanga.com/fotobydeedra

  • Caught in the act??

This is Micki of M. Benoit Photography  http://www.mbenoitphotography.com/blog/index.php, to see the other side of this story, check out DeEdra's Blog www.xanga.com/fotobydeedra .  I was waiting for my friends Saturday morning and I see this woman getting out and taking pictures of the blue bonnets with her camera phone.  I thought "awe that's cute".  When she turned around I just cracked up!  Why?  Because I realized it was Micki and look at what is hanging off her shoulders; a great camera and she is using her camera phone??  She say's it was for a screen saver...  I guess I will believe her.  Micki is just a nice person and really funny.  So for those of you who know me, you know I like to laugh, Saturday she made me laugh!!!

  • Good Friends

Saturday was a busy day....  Family pictures in the morning, a wedding and engagements with DeEdra in the afternoon.  (More on the afternoon later)  The Hair family has recently moved away, Jeri (the Mom) is a friend of mine who has for the past year and a half has been maintaining the home front while her hubby Greg has pursued a new career.  She has had to be both Mom and Dad, while maintaining a full time job and running a home with two boys, and let's face it, boys will be boys.  I think she has gained a lot of confidence in herself during this time and I know that she can handle anything that comes her way.  Greg, you are one lucky guy.  Her family is finally back together in their new home and it was so good to see them this weekend.  Congrats to all......  Here is just a sneak peak of the morning, is was so good to see all of you.  Jeri, you are missed...

  • John Boy

As I posted earlier John Boy, our middle son, joined the Marine Corps.  He has done really well while in boot camp.  His letters have been coming in on schedule and he has really enjoyed himself.  He qualified expert on the rifle range and expert on the combat course.  He has completed the Crucible and earned his dog tags.  He said it was pretty emotional sitting on top of the reeper over looking the ocean and hearing his Senior Drill Intructor give a motivational speech.  We are very proud of him and will be headed to San Diego again in May to watch our second son graduate from MCRD.  John Boy's platoon is on the web site, hopefully you will be able to view it.  He is on the 3rd row down, 9th from the left.  Semper Fi!!!   http://www.devildogs.info/Fox%20Company.htm

Meet Ashleigh! She is my baby girl.  I know I am not supposed to call her that still but she will always be my baby girl and I really don't think she minds me calling her that.  I guess what most people will see is that she is beautiful,  but what I also know is that she is beautiful on the inside too.  She is is such a good person, and tries to make everyone happy.  I think she may be learning that sometimes  happiness has to be found on your own.  I am very proud of her and she always makes me smile.  I love that she doesn't take herself too seriously and cherishes her family and friends.  I love you baby girl.....
