Here he is.....  we enjoyed a great night out, I will show you tomorrow, we spent time with Uncle Al....

We are headed out to dinner, but I wanted to get this on as soon as I could.  The receiving of the Eagle, Globe and Anchor is more than just a ceremony for parents, it is knowing that you have earned the right to be called United States Marine.  This was such a great day, here is just a peak....

Today was all day at the San Diego Zoo.  We got there at around 9:30 and walked, and walked and walked.  We definitely got a work out.  I actually got a bit of a farmers tan too.  Took lot's of pictures, here are just a few.  Tomorrow we get up early, one because Ashleigh and Maegen will be here around 0600 and two, we will get to see John Boy around 0900.  So we are off to bed....  big day tomorrow!

Day one, all 22 hours of driving is finally over.  I should have taken a before and after shot of the family...  but trust me, after was bad news.  The weather was ok, rain here and there, but some really pretty skies as you can see.  San Diego is a bit chilly and rainy today.  I hope that it is only today, I want a California beach day.  Sean slept a lot of the way, poor kid is tightly fit in the back seat.  But the room is big and for those who know what this means (there is a 2 door system) so, it's all good.  Tomorrow we are off to the Zoo, so more is coming....
