  • Weekends

    Untitled-1 copy

This summer has been very busy, in between weddings and John's schedule we have not enjoyed the lake very much.  This weekend was a rare, we were both off!  We had big fun at the lake and as you can see the kids came too which was nice.  Bar-B-Qing on the boat, jet skiing, fishing, and swimming....  all in all it was a great day.  John caught 14 fish in about 3 hours and today the kids will be here for a fish fry.  The only thing that could have made it better was more hours to enjoy it all.  We are blessed!

This is one of 15 oil derricks that that were capped before the lake was impounded in 1966.  They are pretty cool to see when you are out on the lake.  We normally tie up to one of them for crappie fishing or swimming.

  • Lauren and Coy

Lauren and Coy were married on 7-7-07 at 7:00.  This was not for luck, it was just the date they planned.  They really do not need luck, they are so sweet and you can see how much they love and care for each other, so who needs luck??  They were married at the Oak Garden Inn in Graham, you can check out their website here http://www.oakgardeninn.com/  Here are a few pictures from their day.

  • Melissa & Kelly

Melissa and Kelly were married in April.  They are such a cute couple....  I have been working on their album this week.  It is fun doing the albums because you start to remember things about the event that you had forgotten, like how cute the four flower girls were and how precious Melissa was.   I hope they like the album...

  • Shannon and Drew

Shannon & Drew If you look the word "awe" up in the dictionary, you will probably see pictures of Shannon and Drew.  They were  married on June 16 at First Baptist.  The ceremony was beautiful.  Drew surprised his bride at the alter with a song that he wrote and sang just for her.  The music at this wedding was amazing.  Shannon and Drew are precious, I hope they enjoyed their honeymoon and there new start in San Francisco, thank-you for letting us share a beautiful day with you.

  • Pond Day

I have been wanting a water feature in the front yard for quite some time now.  My sweety said this morning that he was bored and wanted to go to Lowes  That was my opportunity, I got ready pretty quick.  I wanted to do it now after all of this rain because I figured the ground would be easier to dig in.  John being the clever person that he is, paid our neighbor with a back hoe to dig it.  Here are some pictures of our busy day.  Even with a back hoe it was hard work.  I sure do love my husband....

This is how it all startedpond 006
