November 17, I will be going to the Dallas Arboretum with DeEdra for photo sessions.  If you have never been to the Arboretum, you are missing out on a real gem.  It would be a beautiful time to visit and have photo's done.  The cost will be $100.00, plus entrance in to the park.  This includes your sitting fee, plus a copy of your pictures on a high resolution CD with a copyrite release.  This is a great time to do photos for Christmas cards I will make one for you as well if you are doing pictures specifically for the holidays.  You can email me or add a message here, I will be doing 6 sessions that day.  For those who cannot make it to Dallas, I can schedule something locally.

  • Tasha

Some of you already know that we have had a stressful week with animals.  Tasha is John's baby.  He got her when he was stationed in Puerto Rico 16 years ago.  We almost lost her this week.  Age is catching up to her and the vet was telling us to prepare for the worst.  Tasha is doing better and her near death experience has left her weird.  She sleeps with us now, constantly wants to be on our laps or by our sides and now likes the outdoors and our fish pond.  I don't know how much longer we will have this wonderful cat, but here are a few pictures of her and the fish making nice with one another.

  • Meet Hercules

I have to admit, I do not ever recall seeing a pitbull this big.  This is Hercules, he is my friends dog.  Tina and Al own 2 pitbulls.  Hercules and Tennessee.  Tennessee is the MaMa and Hercules is her baby boy.  He is 18 months old and 130 pounds.  He stands quite a bit taller than both his parents.  Tina and Al also have a blue heeler mix named Abby and a few cats.  Oh yes and they are parents to two great kids, Alex and Cole.  Now I am not blogging the family or the other pets, although I love them to pieces, I am blogging the pitbulls.  Tina and Al are responsible pet owners and breeders.  Their dogs are family dogs, bred for temperament and affection.  Don't get me wrong, all the dogs in this house will protect the home and family, but they are very social dogs.  As most people know, pitbulls are usually associated with stories like what you have been hearing on the news with Michael Vick (I hope he goes to prison and goes broke too).  These dogs are the total opposite of what most people think of when they think of a pitbull.  Now I will say that Tina and Al do something with the dogs that I am completely against.....I really think something should be done about it.....I am planning some type of help for them.  What do they do?  They allow the dogs on the furniture!!!  Totally unacceptable!  Tennessee may be having pups soon, not sure if she is pregnant yet.  Herc will be a PaPa soon too, check them out www.raisingcainkennels.com/

  • New York State of Mind

This is Sherry and Jermahl.  They were married last weekend here in Wichita Falls.  They met while he was stationed at Fort Sill and now they reside in New York, where he is from.  I learned that his Mom made her first trip to Texas for the big day, and I hope that Texas was fun for her and the rest of the family.  I really enjoyed photographing their big day.  It really does not feel like a job when you are around the nicest people.  Here are a few pictures of the day.

Ok, now I know that the wedding is all about the bride and groom, but we all know that the ring bearer and flower girl often steal the show.  I just have to say that I have never seen two kids so young, (the little man was just 22 months old) walk down the aisle with such confidence, they were not scared and did just exactly what they were supposed to do.  After the wedding the little guy decided to play in the aisle, so now I have to ask.....  can he be any cuter????
