Today is the last day of the 77th Pioneer Reunion.  The day start’s with a parade, then food and shopping on the square, and ends with the rodeo and dance.   Brazos Stone has provided great music last night and again tonight.  I can hear the rodeo and music from my front porch. Ok, so this may be a long post, but I had a hard time picking what pictures to put on here.  To know about Pioneer Reunion and it’s history check out their website at http://claycountypioneerreunion.com/aboutccpr.php . So for those of you don’t know; it’s a BIG DEAL around here.  The first parade on Thursday kicks off the event.  School closes every Friday and for 3 days, horses, covered wagons, floats, cool cars and motorcycles can be seen up and down Main Street.  I shot over 200 pictures today, I have narrowed it down to a few

I love small towns, and our little town is a wonderful place to live…..

So I turned 43 this week.  I had a moment of holy crap… but it was just a moment.  I am in a good place right now; my family is amazing, great friends and life is good.  Speaking of friends, I had lunch with “the girls” (DeEdra, Micki and Devon).  I really think we should do this more often and not wait for a birthday…  we should just do it because it’s Tuesday!!!  So off to one one of my favorite places in WF,

I know, I took these a while ago, but I told them I was going to be way slow because of my classes.  So…  currently no class, so I finished them tonight,  Here are my fav’s.  I just can’t tell you what a beautiful young lady Alex is, you will just have to see for yourself.

So everyone knows that John got a Harley last winter.  There was a thought process behing the purchase, not just “I want to thave a Harley” but’ how can we save money on fuel??  Can you believe that what we pay for the bike, insurance and gas is still cheaper than the amount we spent on gas alone for John’s truck??  Crazy……  N.E. Ways….  I digressed.  Last night we took some night pictures of his bike and a few today after it got cleaned up a bit.  John, has added a lot more chrome to the bike (which I love) and is still adding a few more items to it.  Check it out…..

Ok, so we went for a ride last night and the sunset was amazing.  I told John I wanted to take some pictures tonight, but the Steelers are playing; so we will be staying in afterall.  We did take a couple of night pictures of his bike last night.  John has added some LED lights to make sure people see him when he is driving to work at night.  This first pictures was taken while it sat in the drive way with its lights on…

This next one is John driving it down the street, I freakin’ love this picture….  used the manual setting on the camera and left the shutter open, and it rocks my face off….

We actually got Heather to go for a ride Saturday, that was a “BIG DEAL”….  I think it is the first step to overcome some fears!!!  Way to go Heather! 

I wanted to take a lot more pictures last weekend when the kids were here, but while doing so, I got sick.  Yep, sick!  So to try and keep Gage from getting whatever I got…  we quit and they went home; where there are no germs and junk from Omi.  Here are a few,

Just got my final grade….  92!   Pretty pleased, the essay questions brought it down a bit.  Gotta improve on the APA format. 

If I had a dollar for everytime I told people they needed to get in school, if I only listened to my advice as good as i dished it out.  Well, last summer I did it, I enrolled in college, and now I (almost officially) have 28 hours.  I am so glad I did this and even though I complain about not having a lot of time, I have really enjoyed doing this.  School has been a lot of fun, there I said it, FUN.  So, if you are thinking about going, get off your butt and do it (A.J. and Ashleigh) it has been great so far.  So, now I need to go see what my next class will be, do you think I can take underwater basket weaving????

I really enjoy long weekends.  We had a surprise visit, Ashleigh and Gage came in Friday night.  He is such a sweet baby and he has started to smile and coo.  Of course, I have no pictures of that, but I do have a few
